Changing Love Alan Tang starred in the Hong Kong movie Changing Love in 1972. It was a romantic drama. The Cast:Alan Tang Kwong Wing Yue Wai The Director Faan Daan The Scriptwriter Faan Daan The Story By the time Alan Tang meets his love interest Chin Ling she is already a major movie star. She is also the mistress of the older man who produces her movies. As soon as she and Tang fall in love, Chin Ling tries to leave the older man. In addition she promises to be faithful and wait four years while Tang finishes his studies abroad. Both the older man and Chin Ling's mother do everything they can to make Chin Ling go back with him. The mother, a high living lady with loose morals, was originally involved in getting her daughter to be his mistress. There are wonderful romantic scenes between Tang and Chin Ling which include romps on the beach and runs through greenfields. The two really love each other and Tang agrees to forgive her past but insists that she be true to him in the future. Chin Ling tries very hard to do this when Tang is gone but finds no one will hire her as an actress and she has no qualifications for anything else WARNING CONCLUSION:Eventually Chin Ling gives up and returns to live with the older man. She still loves Tang and agonizes about the time he will return. When this happens, there is a major confrontation between the three. The older man hands Tang the house keys, and says he has given up on winning her love. Tang discovers the truth that she has resumed being the older man's mistress, is appalled and walks out. He stops just outside and seems to be reconsidering. The movie ends as Chin Ling wraps herself around Tang's legs and begs him to understand and forgive. |
