THE YELLOW PERIL Alan Tang starred in The Yellow Peril in 1984. This is a great action drama and one of my favorite Alan Tang movies. See the poster in the poster section of Alan Tang Movies. The Cast:Alan Tang Kwong Wing Tong Laan Dut Gam Hing Yin Cheung Yik Chang Yi Tang Lan Hua Kim Sin Sian Chang Lei The Director Tong Gei Ming The Scriptwriters: Lee Dang Chan Man Gwai THE STORY Alan Tang is a happily married taxi driver living in California with his wife and son. Tang's cousin is triad boss of a drug syndicate which is being challenged for territory by Vietnamese refugees. Tang's cousin asks him to kill the trouble makers. When Tang goes to do this, he witnesses some killings and illegal operations involving Western agents under the leadership of actor Chang Yi. After Chang tries to have Tang killed in an exciting chase, Tang flees to Hong Kong leaving his wife and son behind. Once in Hong Kong, Tang is hunted by a combination of Western and Chinese agents. Chang, who has followed Tang to Hong Kong, hires the Vietnamese refugees located there, who are under the leadership of actor Kim Sin Sian, to kill Tang. In turn, Chang promises to help the refugees emigrate to the USA. Tang's wife and son follow him to Hong Kong and are followed. They are reunited with Tang after an interesting fight sequence in a shopping mall where Tang wears a uniform as a disguise. The entire family is then pursued. After changing hideouts several times, the wife and son are captured and used a bait to lure Tang out of hiding. Warning Conclusion: Tang on motorcycle comes to the rescue of his wife and son, and in turn needs them to rescue him, all of which make this movie very dramatic and entertaining. This is one Alan Tang movie you won't want to miss. Tang does it all, from motorcycle action, to guns, to fights, to loving and caring for his wife and son. My copy did not have English subtitles so I appreciate the plot information added by Alan Tang fan Irene.
