THE BASICS
THE 15 UPPER BODY BASICS

All are presented after circle stepping into Seisan Stance Right Foot Forward (RFF) or Left Foot Forward (LFF). For completeness both sides should be done.

  1. RFF, Right hand chudan punch
  2. RFF, Right hand uppercut
  3. LFF, Right hand chudan punch
  4. LFF, Right hand uppercut
  5. LFF, Left hand down block, right hand punch
  6. LFF, Left hand side block, right hand punch
  7. LFF, Left open hand side block, right open hand strike
  8. LFF, Left open hand head block, right hand uppercut
  9. LFF, Left hand head block, right hand punch
  10. LFF, Left hand head block, left hand backfist, right hand punch chudan punch
  11. LFF, Left hand down block, five alternating punches
  12. LFF, Left hand side block, five alternating puches
  13. LFF, Left open hand down block, right open hand strike to temple
  14. LFF, Left open hand push block, right then left hand biggy punches
  15. LFF in cat stance, Left hand head block, right elbow strike to back

THE 15 LOWER BODY BASICS

The Kick basics are done out of Seisan Stance

  1. Exhale, bend down and touch the floor then come up and bend backwards
  2. Left hand holds right foot, stretch out 10 times, reverse
  3. Peacock stretch
  4. Front snap kick (mae geri)
  5. Kick knee high on 45 degree angle (sokuto geri)
  6. Crossover heel stomp kick (fumikomi geri)
  7. Side snap kick (yoko geri)
  8. pivot to cat stance, front snap kick (mae geri)
  9. Body twist, with front ball of foot kick (koshi geri)
  10. Heel push kick (kakato geri)
  11. Knee smash (hiza geri)
  12. Back kick (ushiro geri)
  13. push ups
  14. body twist with stretch kick to opposite hand
  15. Breathing exercise
ADDITIONAL: Continuous kicks with roundhouse kick (mawashi geri) added
